Creating an account#

HookTrader is currently invite-only. Signup runs in three short steps.

1. Join the waitlist#

From the public landing page, submit your email. You'll immediately receive a 6-digit confirmation code by email — enter it on the same page to verify ownership.

Verified emails move to the front of the queue when the admin issues the next batch of invite codes. Unverified entries are skipped to avoid burning codes on typos and abandoned signups.

2. Receive your invite code#

When a batch is issued, you'll get a second email containing:

  • A single invite code (e.g. BETA-7K3F2).
  • A prefilled signup link that drops the code into the form for you.

Each code has a finite number of uses. If you share the link, the first signups consume the slots.

3. Complete signup#

On the signup form, provide:

  • Email — must match the verified waitlist entry.
  • Password — minimum 12 characters; mix letters, digits, and a symbol.
  • Invite code — from your email (auto-filled if you used the link).

You'll be signed in immediately. The dashboard opens on the onboarding checklist — see Dashboard tour and Onboarding checklist.

Lost or expired codes#

  • Code rejected — the batch may already be exhausted, or you used it on a previous attempt and the slot is consumed. Reply to the invite email to request a new one.
  • Email never arrived — check spam, then verify the address on the waitlist form. We use Resend for delivery; some corporate mail servers quarantine first-time senders.

What you can do without an exchange key#

You can sign in, edit your profile, accept the Terms of Service, and read the in-app help — but the Strategies and Live Trades screens stay locked until at least one Binance API key is verified. See Connecting Binance.
